Sundays Purchase Terms

Last updated 18 August 2026

The short version. Sundays is free to set up. One payment unlocks calling — there is no subscription and no second charge, ever. The unlock belongs to the purchase, not to a phone, so it survives a reinstall or a new handset.

It covers your Google account — Play restores it to your own phones and tablets, so you never pay twice. Pairing with a relative lets you call each other; it does not put them on your purchase, and each household buys its own. It is yours for as long as we run Sundays, and if we ever have to stop, you will get at least 90 days' notice.

What the payment unlocks

Downloading Sundays, setting it up, adding contacts and using Parent Settings are all free. The one-time purchase unlocks making and receiving calls. That is the only thing sold in the app.

The purchase button sits inside Parent Settings, behind the PIN, so a child cannot reach it.

What one purchase covers

One purchase unlocks calling for one Google account. Play ties it to the account that paid and restores it to that account's other devices, so your own phone and tablet are covered by the same payment — tap Restore on the new device.

Pairing does not share the unlock. Adding a family member as a contact lets the two of you call each other once you are both unlocked; it does not put them on your purchase. Each account buys its own.

That is what the price reflects. Sundays is free to install, set up and pair, and the one-time payment unlocks calling on your account.

How many devices

One purchase covers up to 6 of your own devices at a time — the ones Play restores it to. There is a limit at all because every covered device is a place on the server we pay to run.

If you reach it, you are not stuck. Parent Settings → Devices on your purchase lists everything covered and lets you remove one that is no longer used — an old phone, or an install that was replaced — which frees the place immediately.

Removing only detaches that device. To put it back, open Sundays on it and tap Restore; presenting the purchase again re-attaches it, provided there is room.

A new phone, or a reinstall

Both are covered, and neither costs anything.

A reinstall registers as a new device and takes a new place, so if you have reinstalled several times you may want to clear out the old entries using the device list described above.

How long it lasts

For as long as we run Sundays. There is no expiry date on the unlock, and we will not convert it into a subscription or ask you to pay again for what you have already bought.

We would rather be straight with you than promise something we cannot underwrite: calling needs a server, and a server has a running cost that a one-time payment funds only for so long. So the commitment we will actually stand behind is this — if we ever have to shut the service down, we will give at least 90 days' notice, in the app and on this website, before calling stops working. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by anything on this page.

We may change how Sundays works, add features, or retire ones that few people use. What we will not do is put the calling you have paid for behind another payment.

Refunds

Google Play processes the payment, so refunds go through Google rather than through us.

If something is not working and you would rather have it fixed than refunded, write to us first — see below.

Fair use

The unlock is for one Google account. Pairing is deliberately in your hands and we do not police who is in it, but reselling the unlock, or sharing one account around so that a single purchase serves many people, is not what it is for. If a purchase is being used that way we may limit the devices on it. We would contact the buyer first.

Changes to these terms

If we change any of this we will update this page and change the date at the top, and surface material changes in the app. Changes are not retroactive: a purchase is covered by the terms in force when it was made.
